These are the electric cars from Mercedes-Benz for 2024
Mercedes-Benz writes the ABC of electric mobility. From A for beginner to V for voluminous, there are city SUVs, family SUVs, sedans and minibuses. All of them, of course, with the luxurious flair that customers expect from Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes-Benz EQA

At Mercedes-Benz, electric mobility is starting with a popular city SUV. Within the SUV segment, which is booming anyway, the portrait-format city runabouts are even more in demand. For the EQA, the star brand has equipped the successful GA, which is otherwise also available with petrol and diesel engines, with an electric motor and battery. The EQA also makes full use of its advantages: passengers sit higher and enjoy a better overview. Due to its compact dimensions, the GLA is the most manageable electric car in the Mercedes-Benz range. The 4.46-metre-long EQA not only whizzes nimbly through the alleys, but with a width of 1.83 metres, it can also be parked without any problems in narrow parking garages and underground garages. The space is not opulent, but suitable for everyday use and is perfect for couples and small families as a first car and for larger families as a second car. With a range of around 430 kilometres and up to 100 kW of charging power, we can also shine in other cities in the lifestyle electric car. On request, depending on the version, there is all-wheel drive for a detour into the mountains.
- Compact size for the city
- Suitable for families and couples
- Trendy city SUV with a sleek design
- Decent range for the size
- Choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive
Mercedes-Benz EQB

The most important thing first: If Mercedes turns the GLB with electric motor and battery into the EQB, it won't cost the third row of seats. In other words, the electric version of the compact SUV also remains a space miracle with up to seven seats. This makes the EQB the first reasonably affordable family electric car. At at least 62,500 francs, it takes up a lot of space in the budget, but on the other hand, it is half as expensive as the only other electric seven-seater, the Tesla Model X. In addition, a cheaper entry-level version with front-wheel drive instead of all-wheel drive will follow later. Apart from the drive and the closed radiator grille, the EQB adopts the technology and appearance of its brother GLB. The family electric car also has a classic, angular shape for optimal use of space inside. The fact that the rear two emergency seats are only designed up to a size of 1.60 meters is known from other seven-seaters, as is the minimal load volume in this case. But otherwise, the EQB charges between 495 and 1,710 liters over a manageable length of 4.68 meters. The EQB can cover up to 423 kilometres on a single battery charge and charges to 80 per cent in 32 minutes with 100 kW.
- Up to seven seats
- Very spacious with large load volume
- Practical electric car for the whole family
- Classic off-road vehicle shape
- Choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive
Mercedes-Benz EQC

- variantenreiche Bedienung inklusive Sprachassistent
- serienmässig mit Allradantrieb
Mercedes-Benz EQE

Of course, the parent brand of the automobile does not work without a sedan, even in electromobility. And because the brand's reputation is based primarily on its touring and business gliders, it also declines the model series for the electric age. Although the EQE carries the E of the E-Class in its frame – it has nothing in common with the E-Class and its combustion engine platform. The technology is provided by the larger EQS, the design by nature: Mercedes-Benz copied its aerodynamically optimal shape from the Penguin. This reduces air resistance and, thanks to many more streamlined details, gets a few kilometres of range out of it. According to Mercedes-Benz, the EQE can cover up to 660 kilometres on a single battery charge in the version with the largest battery. The 4.95-metre-long star glider also has no competitors yet. Other electric sedans play in other segments. For example, the rear- or all-wheel-drive EQE can currently gain a head start in the business class. Since it is more tuned to driving pleasure than the flagship EQS, it should easily succeed.
- The only electric sedan in business class
- Over 600 kilometers range
- Direct and snappy response for more riding pleasure
- XXL hyperscreen in the cockpit
- AMG versions and all-wheel drive to follow
Mercedes-Benz EQS

The EQS is not just an electric S-Class, but the new Mercedes-Benz flagship! The 5.22-metre-long luxury glider of superlatives lives up to this status: the lowest air resistance of a production car of all time, a gigantic touchscreen for infotainment and, at up to 782 kilometres, the longest range of all electric cars available since its launch. As the first electric car from Mercedes, the EQS was developed right from the start as a pure electric car and serves as a platform for other sedans and SUVs. Nevertheless, the EQS lacks nothing in terms of luxury. Comfort is the motto for the set-up. The luxury electric car seems to float weightlessly and whisper-quietly over the road. This electric car is not so much made to drive yourself, but to be driven – like a real S-Class. In the rear, the 15-minute waiting time until a maximum charging capacity of 200 kilowatts has a range of 300 kilometres can also be endured. If you want to get behind the wheel yourself, you won't be disappointed by the 292 hp rear-wheel drive version to the AMG all-wheel-drive version with 658 hp.
- Je nach Ausstattung fast 800 Kilometer Reichweite
- Typischer S-Klasse-Luxus – einfach elektrisch
- Hightech bei Unterhaltung und Assistenten
- Vorbereitet auf autonomes Fahren auf Level 3, wenn die Gesetze es erlauben
- Breite Palette von Heck- und Allradantrieb sowie AMG-Sportversion
Mercedes-Benz EQV

With the EQV, Mercedes has also electrified its V-Class. In 2020, the electric minibus was launched with similar technology to the EQC. In other words, the EQV is also a converted V-Class and not a completely independently developed electric car. This saves costs for price-sensitive commercial vehicle customers and also for families, for whose space requirements such a van is a great van alternative. That's why Mercedes-Benz didn't sacrifice the variability of the V-Class to the electric drive. The 100 kilowatt-hour battery for a range of up to 378 kilometres is located in the underbody and does not affect the interior. There are still continuous rails to move the seats as desired. Like the V-Class, the EQV also offers up to eight seats or, as an option, six luxurious and electrically adjustable individual seats. The EQV is available in two versions with a length of 5.14 or 5.37 metres. This provides up to 4,630 or 5,010 litres of cargo volume. There is also the eVito commercial vehicle variant for transporting goods or passengers, as well as a camper conversion for the EQV. Only the otherwise optionally possible all-wheel drive could not be realized by Mercedes-Benz in the jack-of-all-trades.
- Enormously large interior with maximum variability
- Space for up to eight people
- Two different lengths available
- Charged to 80 percent again during the lunch break (45 min)
